| Email Hosting - Terms and Conditions |
In connection with your use of the Greynium Email Services, you are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Transmitting e-mail, to non-consenting recipients, that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, including but not limited to any e-mail that encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, violate the laws of others or otherwise violates any applicable local, provincial, national or international law.
- Knowingly transmitting e-mail messages that contain malware or any type of software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, alter or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware.
- Sending commercial e-mail to a recipient if such recipient has requested that You discontinue such communication.
- Using the SMTP gateway provided by Greynium for any purpose that is deemed, in the sole and absolute discretion of Greynium, to constitute resource abuse.
- Harassing others by 'mail-bombing'. 'Mail-bombing' constitutes sending more than ten (10) similar mail messages to the same e-mail address.
- Forging e-mail header information in any way.
- Greynium reserves the sole and exclusive right to block all emails from IPs that are listed on RBLs (bl.spamcop.net, zen.spamhaus.org, dnsbl.njabl.org)
- Greynium will make every effort to block spam and virus infected emails. Greynium doesn't take any responsibility for damages caused.
- SPF: Sender Policy Framework.
SPF is NOT a method to BLOCK emails. SPF is ONLY a tool to be used by the Domain (sending domain) to provide an instruction to servers receiving emails 'from' the domain. If the domain has-all in their SPF record, then any emails with a 'from- address' in the MESSAGE'S ENVELOPE will be rejected unless it comes from the correct assigned outbound servers. If the domain has a ~all in the SPF record, then it's pretty much useless, and does not protect the sending domain as intended.
Greynium does not monitor or log your use of the Greynium Email Service and does not store or save any e-mails, documents, attachments or passwords transmitted through the Service after you log off from the application, or the session has timed out. All of Your e-mail retrieved, read, sent and otherwise accessed through the Site is strictly private and Greynium will not, nor can we access such e-mail at anytime. |
